Hooplete

Hooplete is a Quebec clothing brand built around one idea: the work that decides everything happens when nobody is watching. The hours before anyone is awake, the reps that never get counted, the sessions that never get filmed or posted. We make apparel for the people who show up to that part of the day on purpose, and not for the audience it might eventually get. Training is the clearest test of character we know, and everything we make is designed around it.

Hooplete runs on two permanent lines, and both come from the same place. CORE is our performance line: technical fabrics, panel construction, flat seams, and cuts made to move in, tested in the session rather than styled for the photo. BLACK is our lifestyle line: heavyweight cotton, monochrome colourways, and quiet design made to work outside the gym and last past the season you bought it in. Neither line is an offshoot of the other. They are two ways of approaching the same discipline, and we keep them equal on purpose.

Core and Black stay. They are not seasonal, they are not replaced, and they are not retired when a trend moves on. Around them, Hooplete releases collections that come and go, each one telling part of the same story from a different angle: the empty court before anyone arrives, the buildings in the city that shaped the mentality, the hours and the numbers that only the person doing the work ever remembers. Once a collection is gone, it does not come back.

Hooplete is based in Quebec and made for anyone who takes the daily work seriously, in training and outside of it. Our clothing is built to survive repetition: heavyweight fabrics, restrained colourways, and construction that holds up to being worn constantly rather than photographed once.
